Leadership Team

The Kneat leadership team is comprised of industry veterans supported by an experienced software development team with a passion for streamlining and automating regulated documentation processes.

	Paul Breen – Chairman Paul is a scientist with 30 years experience in the pharmaceutical industry. He started his career in pharmaceutical sales and marketing before moving into pharmaceutical operations. During his career Paul has headed up Sales, Marketing and Operations for a number of multinational pharmaceutical companies.

 

	Eddie Ryan – Managing Director Eddie is a mechanical engineer with more than 20 years experience in design, production and project management within the Pharmaceutical sector. He has managed multidisciplinary pharmaceutical projects on behalf of blue-chip multinational companies. Eddie also headed Irish sales for multinational manufacturers of capital and consumable pharmaceutical equipment.

 

	Brian Ahearne – Quality Director Brian is a mechanical engineer with a master’s degree in software development. He has 17 years experience designing and developing complex software applications. Many of these applications were for the highly regulated life sciences industry. He also held University lecturing positions.

 

	Kevin Fitzgerald – R&D Director Kevin Fitzgerald is an electronic engineer. He has 14 years design and project management experience within the pharmaceutical and IT sectors in the areas of process control and software development.

 

Micheal O’Connell – Product Manager Micheal is a chemical engineer with a master’s degree in strategic business studies. He has 24 years experience at leadership level in design, installation, start up, operation and maintenance of manufacturing facilities for multinational pharmaceutical companies.
