As the user progresses his work in the normal way, Kneat’s powerful modelling functionality creates a dynamic model of the business process where data and relationships between elements of the process are seamlessly captured and maintained. The result is a collaborative intelligent documentation platform where documents can be built, approved and modified in a familiar, secure and controlled environment. The system auto-generates test documents and allows on-line test execution. A change can be initiated from a particular document and impacts to all other documents are identified and presented to the user in real-time. On post change approval it updates the model and all the affected life cycle documents automatically.

Kneat Gx also provides the facility to clone a model complete with all its relationships such that a new model entity or an entire system can be created instantly. In other words, a new project can be initiated with a full set of documents complete with database relationships. Data and information specific to the new project is populated once, either directly to the database model or through any one of the new life cycle documents. Central management ensures that information which is entered in one document is automatically presented in all other life cycle documents where required. Once documents have been updated for the new project situation they can be issued for electronic review and approval. This provides significant opportunities for companies with multiple global operations.
